Sharon Poggenpohl’s Career Guide and Educational Directory from 1993 was a huge influence on my entering the field at the end of the decade. Based on that book, I wrote a series of posts on the AIGA website in 2013 that eventually developed into this book. It was also a great opportunity to interview 30+ people to underscore the changes that I saw in the field.
