Night Market
Night Market is Kris Yenbamroong’s first cookbook
for his Los Angeles restaurant. While Night Market
borrows from Kris’s family history both in Thailand
and in Los Angeles, it also has a decided youthful and
deeply American edge that drove the design of the
book, differentiating it from other “global” cookbooks
on the shelf. Photos of the staff, images from Kris’s
trips to Thailand, and wine pairings weave through
straightforward (and sometimes funny) recipes
across the chapters.
