Blurred Zones
Blurred Zones was an interesting book for me, as I had started designing it before graduate school in Graphic Design and then completed it afterwards. It still has many of the hallmarks of the way I thought about graphic design materially and spatially before the first moments of my professional training. Each chapter has a different (human-run) algorithm that determines the placement of images and the overlapping drawings. A similar logic appears for essays. A metallic blue also runs throughout as a fifth layer.
